5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to support basic site functionality. Here is what we set and why:

  • WordPress session cookies (wordpress_*, wp-settings-*): Set when you are logged in to the site. These expire when you close your browser or log out and are not set for general visitors.
  • YouTube cookies: When you play an embedded video, YouTube (Google LLC) may set cookies on your device to track playback and preferences. These are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. You can avoid these cookies by not playing embedded videos.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may affect basic site functionality.

7. Children’s Privacy

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law. Contact form submissions and prayer requests are kept for pastoral follow-up and are reviewed and purged periodically.
